I need to sign up for classes
Step 1
Look at the Class Schedule. Pick the classes you want, along with a few alternates just in case your first choices are full.
Step 2
Go over your proposed schedule with an advisor. Make sure you don't have any advising holds on your account.
Step 3
Check MyCSUMB and make sure you don't have any other holds on your account. If you do, clear the holds.
Step 4
Log in to MyCSUMB with your OtterID and password. Click the Links tab in the top right and select "CMS Student/HR" from the list. On the next menu, choose Self Service. On the next screen, choose Student Center. From there, click the link to Add a Class and follow the steps to input the class number and a permission number, if you need one. Repeat until you've added all the classes you want, then click Proceed to Step 2 of 3. Review your classes, and if satisfied, click Finish Enrolling. Voila, you're registered!
