I need to declare my major

CSUMB policy requires that all students declare a major before completing 70 units. Officially declaring your major allows you to generate a degree progress report that shows where you are with meeting all your GE and major requirements — a great tool tool to help you graduate on time.

Your major is displayed on the Student tab of your MyCSUMB dashboard.

If you need to declare a new major or a minor (or change one of them), please contact your advisor. He/she will make the change on your behalf. Your advisor's name can be found on the right side of your Student Center page. Here's more info on how that process works. 

So, if you haven't already, declare today!
